Description Metallic Oud takes a smooth Cambodian oud and sharpens it with grapefruit and cubeb pepper until it almost glints. It is part of Landcaster's second collection, released in 2026. The house says the oud came from small specialty shops in Bangkok's Arab quarter, chosen after comparing oils of many origins side by side; the winner turned out to be the most expensive of the lot. Grapefruit, piper cubeba and nutmeg give the opening its bright, faintly metallic edge. Fig and frangipani bring a juicy, floral contrast in the heart, with rosewood and cacao beside them, and immortelle adds a dry, honeyed note as the oud darkens again over tonka, vetiver, oakmoss and amber. Of the Landcaster ouds, it is the brightest and fruitiest.
