Sillage
About Sillage & How We Source Our Data
What Sillage is
Finding out that a fragrance exists usually means opening ten tabs: a couple of brand sites, three retailers, and a forum thread from four months ago where someone swears it drops in spring.
Sillage is the fix for that. We track new fragrance releases as they're announced and put them in one place: the site, plus a weekly email. No tabs required.
Sillage is small and independent. We built it because we wanted it to exist and nobody else had.
How we source our data
Sillage compiles release information - brand and product names, estimated release dates, pricing, and availability - from publicly available brand and retailer websites and public community discussion. Every listing is reviewed by a human before it goes live. Wherever we can, we link straight back to the original retailer or brand page so you can confirm the details and buy directly from them.
Think of Sillage as an index, not a store. We're closer to trade press covering an industry than to any single retailer's shelf. We aren't affiliated with the brands or retailers we track, and estimated dates and prices move constantly. Confirm with the retailer before you spend money.
Corrections and removals
We want this to be accurate, and we want to be easy to deal with when it isn't. If you're a brand, retailer, or rights holder and you'd like us to correct or remove a listing:
Email ivan@korostechnologies.com with:
- The URL of the page in question
- What's incorrect, or what you'd like removed
- The reason for the request
We aim to respond within 5 business days. We'd rather fix it than argue about it.
