Description No. 101 is a Reykjavík backyard at the height of summer: green, a little wild and gone too soon. Released in 2022 by Fischersund, the Reykjavík art collective run by Jónsi of Sigur Rós and his family, it is inspired by the unruly backyards of the city during its short summers, stretched out by near-constant daylight. The house pictures weathered garden chairs, chervil pushing through the pavement, sorrel and dandelions, the sound of a party nearby, and blackcurrants dropping from bare branches as winter moves in. Blackcurrant and chervil open it, caraway, cypriol and lily form the heart, and limbwood, musk and vanilla give it a soft base. It is the greenest and gentlest of the numbered Fischersund fragrances.
