Description Flotholt is the North Atlantic at night: cold salt water, weathered leather and the embers of a driftwood fire. Fischersund released it in 2022 to celebrate the Sigur Rós world tour and named it after the Icelandic word for a lifebuoy, the ring thrown to someone in the water. The house calls it a ritual of hope in difficult times. Sitka spruce and citrus open it, cypress, salt and seaweed carry the heart, and smoke, ambergris and musk settle into a dark, mineral base. It is fresh and mysterious at once, a marine fragrance without any of the usual beach-holiday brightness. Like every Fischersund scent, it was composed by Jónsi .
