Description Iris Obsidian is a dark, spicy iris: pepper and violet up front, incense and orris in the heart, tobacco, bourbon vanilla and leather underneath. It is made by Third Eye Fragrance Co., a small independent American house founded by self-taught perfumer Will Southard. Pink and black pepper open it with a sharp sparkle, softened by violet and resinous elemi. Saffron, incense and powdery orris give the middle a smoky, regal feel, and the drydown is warm and a little sweet, with tobacco and vanilla wrapped in leather.
