RegalienAnemos: Cappadocia Wild
Description Anemos is a windswept leather-and-spice extrait inspired by the raw landscapes of Cappadocia. The name comes from the Greek Anemoi, the gods of the wind, and the house built the scent around the freely roaming Yılkı horses of central Turkey, kicking up dust across sun-warmed volcanic stone. Pink pepper, bergamot, elemi and grapefruit open it with a bright, resinous lift. The heart turns warm and textured: saffiano leather, geranium, davana and nagarmotha, a grassy, earthy root used in traditional Indian incense. Praline, cistus, oakmoss, agarwood and ambrettolide settle into a base that is dry, slightly smoky and lightly sweet. Composed by Hamid Merati-Kashani for the Turkish house Regalien, and launched in 2026. Scent Character Woody — 31% Spicy — 24% Floral — 16% Fresh — 15% Sweet — 7% Oud — 7% Translation: dry wood and warm spice lead, with a bergamot-grapefruit freshness in the opening and a geranium-davana floral thread through the heart. The praline and agarwood add subtle sweetness and depth rather than dominating. Fragrance Pyramid Top: Pink Pepper, Bergamot, Elemi, Grapefruit Heart: Saffiano Leather, Geranium, Davana, Nagarmotha Base: Cistus Incanus, Praline, Oakmoss, Agarwood, Ambrettolide Performance Longevity: Strong. An extrait with a resinous, woody base. Sillage: Moderate to strong, projecting warmth and leather. Projection: Noticeable in the first hours, then a warm, spiced skin scent. An honest note: this is a 2026 release and independent wear reports are still limited, so we are not quoting precise hours. The leather and cistus are forward in the early going; the praline and agarwood come through gradually. Best Occasions & Season Best in Fall and Winter, for evenings, date nights and special occasions. The pepper and bergamot opening give it enough brightness for a cool spring evening too. Unisex. Skip it if you dislike leather-forward scents or want something light and clean.
