Description Boccanera is hot chili and dark chocolate over leather, a spiced cacao with a wild streak. It was part of the first Orto Parisi collection in 2014, created by Alessandro Gualtieri , the Italian perfumer behind Nasomatto. The name means "black mouth" in Italian, and the opening explains it: chili pepper, black pepper, ginger and cacao pod burn bright before a single note of jasmine softens the middle. The base is dark chocolate, leather, animalic notes, patchouli, cedar, vanilla, sugar and musk. It wears as a spiced, bittersweet chocolate with a warm, skin-like leather underneath, closer to a mole sauce than a candy bar.
