Description Vesevo is a warm, dusty woody oud named after Mount Vesuvius, the volcano that overlooks Naples. Released in 2020 by Mine Perfume Lab, the artisan house founded in Naples by Massimo Annunziata , who composes and hand-makes the line, it is presented by the house as a tribute to the raw power of the volcano. Cashmere wood and a touch of cotton candy open it softly, then earthy cypriol, patchouli and incense take over, settling on agarwood and musk. Reviewers are divided on the cotton candy: several say they barely notice it, and that what they get is a smooth, powdery woody scent with a dark, earthy middle.
