Description God and Moon takes heavy, sweet materials and lifts them into something soft and moonlit: white flowers and plum over honey, coffee and oud. Released in 2024 by Maison de L'Asie, the Singapore house founded by Elizabeth Liau that produces its extraits in Grasse, it is described by the house as an homage to the moon and the deepest night skies. Plum and davana open it fruity and a little boozy, Indian tuberose and gardenia bring a creamy white-floral glow, and honey, coffee, tonka and cardamom make the heart warm and gourmand. Underneath, oud, rosewood and cedar give it a dark, woody floor. The effect is a contrast between light and shadow: sweet and floral on top, deeper and more resinous as it dries down.
