Description Dior Sauvage Elixir is a far more concentrated take on Sauvage: warm cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom over lavender, licorice, sandalwood and amber. Created by Dior perfumer-creator François Demachy and released in 2021, Elixir was composed as a "reduction", like reducing a sauce, Demachy removed the superfluous to keep only the essential. It opens with grapefruit and a hot rush of cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom, moves to Provençal lavender, and settles into licorice, sandalwood, amber, patchouli and Haitian vetiver.
