Iris Tannat - the new and exciting addition to Selection 2026 by Danner & Flemming! Iris Tannat was released on October 21, 2026 and has already sold out. The just arrived bottles (on October 23rd) will be shipped beginning Monday, October 26th. We quickly placed another order and hopefully the next batch will arrive in about a week. Any full bottle order placed after October 23rd will not ship until the new batch arrives. Iris Tannat is inspired by the wild Basque Country, where robust, dark wines mature in oak barrels and gnarled vines grow on rocky slopes. 3.5% Iris in perfume oil Millésime Parfum Selection 2026 – Limited to 893 Mineral powderiness, dark floral notes, and the complexity of aged wines shape this enigmatic fragrance. At the heart of this millésime perfume shines a maximum dose of our Bavarian Iris pallida — mineral, clear, and refined. Its velvety powder unfolds over deep, earthy facets, enriched by the dark warmth of aged wine barrels, the textured elegance of leather, and the sweetness of Bavarian Iris germanica extract. Iris Tannat unites the tannic structure of the Basque Tannat grape with the richness of Bavarian soils and the noblesse of Burgundian oak. Bold and contoured, our Iris reveals an unusually dark depth — its elegance meeting the rugged beauty of the wines of the Pyrenees. * Millésime = A French term from the wine world which translates to "great vintage." This hallmark of excellence translates into only using the finest, hand-crafted ingredients from around the world. ***PLEASE NOTE: Iris Tannat is not eligible to be included in the Indigo Perfumery Sampler. EdP, 1 ml. spray sample Perfumer: Antoine Lie More Iris info: Based on standard Iris concentrations of around 0.1% in the fragrance oil, we used an approximately 35-fold higher dose of Iris butter and Iris extract in Iris Tannat. Such high Iris concentrations are unique in the world of fragrances and our perfumes are therefore only available in naturally limited quantities.
